The draw took place in Nyon, Switzerland on Thursday afternoon.
Cristiano Ronaldo, who moved from Real Madrid to Juventus this summer, will face another of his former club, Manchester United.
Liverpool find themselves in the Group of Death, along with Napoli, Paris Saint-Germain and Crvena Zvezda.
Holders Real Madrid have been handed an easy group, as they will take on Roma, CSKA Moscow and Plzen.
