Champions League: CSKA Moscow shock Real Madrid, Valencia hold Manchester United

Real Madrid were defeated 1-0 by CSKA Moscow in a Champions League Group G fixture on Tuesday night.

The hosts grabbed the winner as early as the second minute, after Toni Kroos gave the ball away.

Nikola Vlasic raced through and calmly finished past Keylor Navas.

Manchester City needed a late David Silva goal to beat Hoffenheim 2-1 in Germany, while Juventus thrashed Young Boys 3-0.

Valencia left Old Trafford with a point, following a 0-0 draw with Manchester United, Bayern Munich also drew 1-1 with Ajax and Roma hammered Viktoria Plzen 5-0.
