Petr Cech will edge closer to a sensational move from Chelsea to Arsenal, when he undergoes a medical with the Gunners on Friday.
According to the BBC, the two London clubs have agreed a transfer fee, while Cech has also agreed personal terms with Arsenal.
“Chelsea goalkeeper Petr Cech, 33, will undergo a medical today ahead of his proposed moved to Arsenal. The fee is reportedly £11m and personal terms have been agreed,” David Ornstein reported.
Cech made 450 appearances for Chelsea during his 11-year stay at the club and won four Premier League crowns, four FA Cup winners medals, three League Cup triumphs and success in both the Champions and Europa League.
Blues owner, Roman Abramovich, has allowed the Czech stopper to move to a rival club, in fulfillment of a promise made to one of his longest serving players.
