Chelsea will hand Petr Cech a £4million kiss-off, as the goalkeeper closes in on a move to rivals Arsenal.
According to the Sunday People, Russian owner, Roman Abramovich, will give Cech the cheque to say thank you for his exemplary service to the London club.
Cech has 12 months left on his current deal and will be paid half of his transfer fee from the Gunners, which is reported to be £8million.
The 33-year-old made 450 appearances for Chelsea during his 11-year stay at the club and won four Premier League crowns, four FA Cup winners medals, three League Cup triumphs and success in both the Champions and Europa League.
