Writer: AdminAdmin

Consequent upon the Appeal Court’s rejection of his bid to stop his trial at the Code of Conduct Tribunal, CCT, the Senate President, Dr. Bukola Saraki shortly after the judgment on Friday expressed his intention to head to the Supreme Court in search of justice on the matter.

Speaking through his lead lawyer, Mohammed Mogaji, the Senate President declared that he would file a further appeal at the Supreme Court.

Saraki had wanted the appellate court to stop his trial at the Code of Conduct Tribunal, where he has been charged with a 13-count false asset declaration.
