Prospective candidates of the Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination, UTME, on Wednesday besieged the Asaba office of the Joint Admission and Matriculation Board, JAMB, over network challenges crippling their registration.

The students, who arrived the JAMB Office as early as 8am were still at the entrance gate at about 5pm.

The students looked helpless over the challenges associated with the Computer Based Test registration.

One of the students, Nwaife Anthony hinted DAILY POST that “the problem is network issue. We have been here since morning without food and we have not seen our names. It s very bad.”

Jamb’s Zonal Director in Asaba could not be reached when our correspondent sought his view on the matter.

As of the time of filing this report, the students are still standing helpless in front of the JAMB office.
