Cameroon vs Nigeria: What we are expecting from Indomitable Lions in Yaounde – Rohr

Head coach of the Super Eagles, Gernot Rohr, has said he is preparing his team for a physical game, when they play Cameroon on Monday, in the reverse fixture of their 2018 World Cup qualifier in Yaoundé.

Rohr’s men walloped the Indomitable Lions 4-0 defeat in Uyo last Friday.

But the German tactician expects the African champions to be up for a fight.

“It’s normal. It’s natural. They are at home. They have their families and their supporters and they got a slap on Friday so we expect a big beginning of the game from Cameroon with a lot of aggressiveness.

“We will try with a lot of aggressiveness to play. This is a physical team but we are ready physically also to have a big fight,” Rohr told reporters following the team’s training session on arrival in Cameroon on Sunday.

The game kicks off by 6pm.
