The Confederation of African Football (VAF), has announced Gabon as the host of the 2017 Africa Cup of Nations.
CAF made their decision public on Wednesday afternoon in Cairo, after the Executive Committee voted for all the bidding countries.
The oil-rich central African country, beat Algeria and Ghana to the hosting rights.
They will also be staging the tournament, five years since they co-hosted the 2012 edition with neighbours Equatorial Guinea.
Gabon had hosted the 2013 French Super Cup match between Paris Saint-Germain and Bordeaux.
