Enugu Rangers’ general manager, Christian Chukwu, has expressed his confidence ahead of their CAF Champions League first round, first leg saying they are going to Egypt to surprise Zamalek SC.
The Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL) champions, flew out to Cairo on Thursday ahead of the match on Sunday.
Chukwu stated that they want to come back with a good result, to enhance their chances of qualifying for the money-spinning group stages.
“We are on a mission to Egypt to surprise our hosts,” Chukwu told Goal.
“We know it won’t be easy but we are going there to get a result and we have mapped out our strategies to ensure that Zamalek didn’t catch us unawares.
“We want to qualify for the group stage of the Champions League and we do not want Zamalek to stand in our ways.”
