CAF Champions League: Recreativo Do Libolo of Angola hold Rangers in Enugu

Recreativo Do Libolo of Angola, on Sunday secured a crucial point, in the third round first leg match of the on-going CAF Champions League, played at the Nnamdi Azikiwe Stadium, Enugu.

The hosts, Rangers International FC of Enugu, failed to convert any of their chances, despite playing before at home with their supporters fully behind them.

Rangers, the remaining Nigerian representative n the continent, had Chigozie Agbim in goal, after the club secured provisional clearance from his former club, Warri Wolves.

The Enugu Flying Antelopes missed several glaring chances, even inside the 18-yard box, as the midfielders failed to convert chances. However, the visiting team, who played a defensive game throughout the 90 minutes of play, gave good account of themselves.

Rangers’ Chief Technical Director refused to talk to sports writers after the match.
