Residents of Anagada village, Gwagwalada Area Council, of the Federal Capital Territory, FCT, Abuja, on Tuesday served jungle justice to two cable thieves who were caught in the act.

The suspects had sneaked into the enclosure housing the newly installed transformer to steal cables in the area when a security guard at the village primary school reportedly heard strange sounds from the direction of the transformer and raised the alarm.

They were nabbed and descended upon by irate mob who tied them up and later handed them over to men of the Nigerian Security and Civil Defence Corps, NSCDC.
