Cabal, not Turai kept late Yar’adua away from the public – PFN secretary

The newly appointed National Secretary of the Pentecostal Fellowship of Nigeria, Apostle Emmanuel Nuhu Kure, has called on Nigerians to stop blaming Hajia Turai Yar’adua, for the controversial events surrounding the death of her late husband, President Umaru Musa Yar’adua.

According to him, the former First Lady was as much a victim of power play by the political elites.

Addressing a media parley in Lagos, Kure said that contrary to the belief that Turai kept her ailing husband away from the public, a powerful cabal actually made sure that any report about the Late President did not get out of the walls of the Aso Rock.

The cleric, who is the founding coordinator of the Throneroom Trust Ministry, Kafanchan, Kaduna State, was one of the four Christian clerics invited to pray for Late Umaru Yar’Adua during his last moments after he was flown into Nigeria from Saudi Arabia.

He stated that the former Governor of Kastina might have lived longer, “if his associates had heeded the divine instruction given and taken him out of the Presidential Villa.”
