Building collapses in Umuahia, 7 people feared dead

Seven persons are feared dead in a building that collapsed in Agbama Housing Estate, Umuahia, the Abia state capital last night. The building was said to have been under construction before the incident.

The incident which happened at about 8pm on Wednesday, still have some people trapped, as efforts are being made to rescue them.

Red cross, a construction firm and other security agencies are currently involved in an ongoing rescue operation
