President Muhammadu Buhari, has called on the Senate to screen and confirm Ibrahim Magu as the acting Chairman of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC.
Buhari conveyed this in a letter to the Senate President, Bukola Saraki. The letter was read on the floor of the upper legislative chambers on Thursday.
The letter was signed by Vice-president, Yemi Osinbajo, when Buhari was on a 10-day vacation in the United Kingdom.
Magu, before his appointment as the Chairman of the commission on November 9, 2015 was the Head of Economic Governance Unit.
