Buhari vs Atiku: Results of 29 LGAs in Kano emerge

The All Progressives Congress, APC, presidential candidate, Muhammadu Buhari has won twenty-two Local Government Areas in Kano State.

The News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) reports that Electoral Officers for Kunchi, Rimin Gado, Bagwai, Gabasawa, Bunkure and Karaye Local Government Areas made the announcements while presenting their results to the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) in Kano.

Announcing the results for Kunchi Local Government area, Prof. Saminu Iliyasu, Electoral Officer for the Presidential Election in the area, said APC presidential candidate polled 20,375 to beat PDP candidate, who scored 4,983 votes.

Madobi LGA APC 26,110 PDP 13,111

Garun Malam LGA APC 23,810 PDP 4,861

Kunchi LGA APC 20,375 PDP 4,983.

Gabasawa LGA APC 24,420 PDP 6,130

Bunkure LGA APC 7,232 PDP 9,528

Rimin Gado APC 20,589 PDP 10, 305.

Karaye LGA APC 23,023 PDP 8,265.
