Buhari vs Atiku: INEC announces result of presidential election in Ogun

President Muhammadu Buhari of the All Progressives Congress, APC, has defeated the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, presidential candidate, Atiku Abubakar in Ogun State.

Buhari polled 281,762 votes to defeat his close rival, Atiku, who had 194,655.

The result was announced by the INEC Returning Officer of Ogun State, Prof: A.A. Joseph at its collation center in Abuja, on Tuesday.

Total No of registered Voters: 2,336,887, number of accredited 613,397, Valid Votes: 564,256 Rejected Votes: 41,682
