Buhari vs Atiku: Don’t come to my office if APC loses in Ondo – Amaechi threatens electo

The Director General of the Buhari/Osinbajo Campaign Council, Rotimi Ameachi, has challenged the Ondo State electorate that the February 16 presidential election is a must win in the state, else his door would be shut against any request from them if results at poll turned out otherwise.

Ameachi, a former governor of Rivers State, who gave the warning on Tuesday in Akure, the Ondo State capital at the campaign rally of President Muhammadu Buhari, emphasized that the people of Ondo State should avoid the consequences currently being faced by the people of Rivers State on the failure to vote in the APC in 2015.

The Minister of Transportation further urged the Ondo State electorate to avoid being swayed by the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, as the APC was set to ensure that they get all the benefits they deserve as a state.

“If we lose this election in this state (Ondo State), anybody from Ondo State must not come to my office. You can imagine my state, Rivers what they are losing for not being APC.

“You cannot trust PDP, when they designed their railway project, they never included Ondo State but with Buhari coming on board he directed that Akure, the state capital must be included.

“There’s no money to be shared again like in the days of the PDP, what we are doing is to ensure that there is infrastructure across the country as well as employment for all.”

Also, at the rally, which attracted the governors of Ekiti, Osun and Edo States, the host governor, Oluwarotimi Akeredolu, assured that the state did not disappoint Buhari in 2015 and will not do such on 16 February, but to ensure a wider margin at the polls.

“All of us in the South West are one, we are all for APC, we are for Buhari.

“When we were not in government APC won in 2015, but now that we are in government in Ondo, it is paramount for us to let the margin to be wider.

“We assure Mr. President that we have already delivered our votes, you will win handsomely here, that is a fact,” Akeredolu boasted.
