Buhari under attack as gunmen kidnap Federal High Court judge

Femi Fani-Kayode, former minister of aviation has reacted to the kidnap of a Judge of the Federal High Court, Ondo division, Justice Abdul Dogo by suspected gunmen.

DAILY POST reports that Judge Dogo was abducted alongside his driver by gunmen suspected to be kidnappers while on their way from Abuja to Akure on Tuesday evening.

Ondo State Police Command, speaking on the incident, said that the abduction of Justice Dogo, which occurred on Tuesday evening did not happen within its jurisdiction.

According to the Police Public Relations Officer, PPRO, of the Command, Femi Joseph, the incident happened at Ibilo in Akoko Edo area of Edo State which he said was within the purview of the Edo Police Command.

In a statement made available to DAILY POST, the PPRO stated that the police in collaboration with men of the Edo State Command had already swung into action towards rescuing the abducted Judge and his driver from captivity.

Fani-Kayode, reacting to the recent development, decried the spate of kidnapping in Nigeria in recent times.

He called out President muhammadu Buhari, describing his government as “affliction on Nigerians.”

The former minister on his Twitter page wrote: “A Federal High Court Judge has been kidnapped in Nigeria? Wow a Federal High Court judge?

“May the Lord deliver us from this calamity of a President and Government that has befallen us and afflicted our people since 2015.”
