In a clear indication that it will not be an easy ride come 2015, the opposition All Progressives Congress governors today boycotted the Council of State meeting convened by President Goodluck Jonathan.

Also absent were two other prominent members of the party, former head of state, Mohammadu Buhari and Speaker of the House of Representatives, Aminu Tambuwal.

As at the time the meeting started at 11.30, only PDP governors were in the Council Chamber of the Presidential Villa, Abuja.

However, former Presidents, Olusegun Obasanjo; Shehu Shagari; former Head of State, Gen. Yakubu Gowon (retd.); former Head of the Interim National Government, Chief Ernest Shonekan; and the President of the Senate, David Mark, were also in attendance.
