Buhari sends names of 46 non-career ambassadorial nominees to Senate

President Muhammadu Buhari, on Thursday, sent a list of 46 non-career ambassadorial nominees to the Senate for confirmation and approval.

The list was read on the floor of the senate by the President of the Senate, Senator Bukola Saraki, at Thursday plenary.

The nominees include retired Justice of the Supreme Court, Justice George Oguntade (Lagos); former Deputy Governor of Plateau State, Mrs. Paulen Tallen (Plateau); former member of the House of Representatives, Usman Bugaje (Katsina), former Deputy Governor of Niger State, Ahmed Ibeto.
