President Muhammadu Buhari and the President of the Senate, Bukola Saraki met behind closed doors on Tuesday the Presidential Villa, Abuja.
The meeting is coming amid the controversies surrounding the Senate’s rejection of the nomination of Mr. Ibrahim Magu as the Chairman of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission and the ongoing calls for the removal of the Secretary to the Government of the Federation, Babachir Lawal.
The meeting between the two leaders lasted about 30 minutes.
At the end of the meeting, Buhari and Saraki proceeded to the mosque for prayers.
He did not address state house correspondents who were waiting.
While Saraki was making his way out, it was gathered that the Senior Special Assistant to the President on National Assembly Matters (Senate), Ita Enang, arrived the Presidential Villa.
