Buhari’s daughter dies after delivering child

First daughter of a former head of state and national leader of Congress for progressive change (CPC) Gen. Muhammad Buhari (rtd), Zulai Buhari is dead. The late Zulai passed away on Thursday evening, after delivering a baby in a Nasara Hospital,Marafa Estate in Kaduna. Zulai, until her death was an alumnus of Ahmadu Bello University (ABU), Zaria.

Since the news hit the air, several condolences have been pouring in for her father and the entire bereaved family.

The former Federal Capital Territory Minister, Nasir El-rufai, prayed God to grant her soul eternal rest and give the immediate family the fortitude to bear the irreparable loss. He said, “May the soul of Zulaihatu, the eldest daughter of General Muhammadu Buhari, rest in perfect peace.” Also, the Spokesman CPC, Rotimi Fashakin described Zulai’s death as sad and shocking.
