The Ondo State Chapter of the All Progressives Congress, APC, says President Muhammadu Buhari and his Vice, Prof. Yemi Osinbajo will today lead members of the party to its governorship campaign rally in Akure.
The Publicity Secretary of the party in the state, Chief Abayomi Adesanya, disclosed this in a statement in Akure, the state capital.
Disclosing that the rally was to mobilise support for its governorship candidate, Chief Rotimi Akeredolu, Adesanya said Buhari’s visit would enhance the support of the masses who believe in true governance which the party represented.
“The president is expected to address a mammoth crowd of party faithful and the teeming supporters of APC in Ondo State.”
“Mr President has given assurances that he will personally grace the campaign rally scheduled to hold on Saturday at the Democracy Park, Akure.
“Buhari will lead all the APC governors across the country and members of the Federal Executive Council to the campaign rally, while the Senate President, Dr Bukola Saraki will also grace the event.’’
