A former Governor of Abia State, Orji Uzor Kalu, has attacked former President Olusegun Obasanjo, over allegations and attacks he launched against the President Muhammadu Buhari government on Sunday.
Obasanjo had in a sixteen-page letter made mess of the current administration and even compared Buhari administration to that of late Head of State, Sani Abacha era.
Kalu, a chieftain of the All Progressives Congress, APC, and senatorial flagbearer, said it was shameful that the former President, after all that happened during his government, should raise issues against Buhari.
In a tweet on Sunday night, Kalu said, “Its extremely dismal that the one who brazenly attempted to thwart our constitution destroyed personalities in the name of 3rd Term,mercilessly sent a whole community to early grave for a single offence now preaches Democracy.”
“This is absolutely the height of hypocrisy.”
Among other things, Obasanjo also accused the ruling party of plotting to rig the coming election.
