President Muhammadu Buhari has nominated Prof. Bolaji Owasanoye as the Chairman of the Independent Corrupt Practices and other related offences Commission (ICPC).
Buhari disclosed this in a one-page letter to the Senate President, Dr Bukola Saraki, and read on the floor of the Senate Tuesday.
He also sought the Senate’s confirmation of eight other members of the commission.
The letter, dated October 27, 2017 read “Confirmation of the appointment of the chairman and members of the Independent Corrupt Practices and other related offences Commission (ICPC)
”In accordance with provision of section 38 (6) of the corrupt practices and other related offences commission establishment act 2000, I have the pleasure to present the under-listed for confirmation as chairman and members of the Independent Corrupt Practices and other Related Offences Commission (ICPC) by the Senate.

Dr Grace Chinda – member (Delta)
Okolo Titus – member (Enugu)
Obiora Ugwedebia (Anambra)
