Former Special Adviser on New Media to ex-President, Goodluck Jonathan, Reno Omokri, has claimed that Charles Oputa also known as Charlyboy’s ‘civilian coup’ led to President Muhammadu Buhari’s return from London.

Buhari, who spent over 100 days in London attending to his ill-health returned to the country on Saturday.

However, Omokri said Charlyboy’s “return or resign” protest in London evicted Buhari from the Queen’s land.

Omokri, who made these claims on his social media handle, on Sunday also commended the ace musician for the stride.

He wrote, “Areafada1 & @adeyanjudeji, thanks for using #ResumeOrResign to force PMB’s return. The struggle isn’t over. Now he must #PerformorResign!

“CharlyBoy is the man! His #ResumeorResign executed a civilian coup d’é·tat by evicting an ex-military General from his London residence!”

Omokri while listing some of the All Progressives Congress, APC, manifestoes, berated the ruling party over failure to fulfil its campaign promises.

“Take a long hard look at the highlights of @APCNigeria’s manifesto. After more than two years, they have not achieved even one thing from it!,” he wrote.
