Buhari dissolves NNPC board

President Muhammadu Buhari has dissolved the board of the Nigerian Nation Petroleum Corporation, NNPC.

DAILY POST recalls that the NNPC has been enmeshed in several allegations of corruption, even as the President has vowed to tackle all corrupt related activities in the corporation before and under his watch.

The notice of the dissolution was contained in a letter signed on Friday by Danladi Kifasi, head of the civil service of the federation.

In the letter, President Buhari expressed his gratitude to members of the dissolved board for the services they rendered to the nation.
