Former Minister of Aviation, Femi Fani-Kayode, has claimed that President Muhammadu Buhari cannot control the officials in his government.
Fani-Kayode was reacting to the news that Buhari has ordered for the immediate sack of a former Chairman of the Presidential Task Force on Pension Reforms, Abdulrasheed Maina.
Following Maina’s dismissal, the Minister of Interior, Abdulrahman Dambazau and Head of Service, Winifred Oyo-Ita, have denied endorsing the reinstatement of Maina.
Fani-Kayode tweeted: “Hon.Min. Kachikwu says GMD NNPC lied.GMD NNPC says Hon.Min. Kachikwu lied. Hon.Min. Dambazau says Head of Service lied. Head of Service says Hon.Min. Dambazau lied.
“What a shitty show of shame @MBuhari is running! Can’t even control his own officials let alone run a country!”
The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has also reacted to the controversy trailing Maina’s reinstatement and sack.
It said the action was a confirmation of the classic novel by a British author, Jeffery Archer titled “Honour among thieves”, where he postulated that “criminals do not compromise the actions of other criminals”.
