The House of Representatives on Tuesday recalled its former Chairman, Committee on Appropriation, Abdulmumini Jibrin, from his suspension.
Jibrin was recalled following a letter of apology he wrote to the House which was announced during plenary by Speaker, Yakubu Dogara.
Despite not reading the content of the letter, Dogara said by implication, Jibrin can resume “if he wishes.”
Recall that the House had in 2016 suspended Jibrin, following an allegation of budget padding against the Speaker, his Deputy; Yusuf Lasun, Chief Whip, Ado Doguwa and Minority Leader, Leo Ogor.
