A 23-year-old woman identified as Joy Okoh has been raped and murdered in Benin, Edo State, while her corpse was left in the boot of an SUV at Upper Mission Extension area of the State.
DAILY POST gathered that Okoh who sells bread at Lucky Way Junction by Ramat Park in Benin, the Edo State capital was abducted at about 7.30pm after she closed for the day.
The SUV used in the operation was alleged to have been snatched by the assailant and later abandoned after the act.
Confirming the incident, the State Police Public Relations Officer, Mr. Stephen Onwuchei said investigation into the matter was on-going.
