Ex-Nigerian international, Mutiu Adepoju, has advised Super Eagles head coach, Gernot Rohr, on how to beat Brazil national team when both sides clash in Sunday’s international friendly game at the Singapore Stadium.
Adepoju urged Rohr to feature players capable of holding their own against Brazil if he wants Nigeria to beat the Selecao.
Nigeria head to the game following a 2-2 draw with Ukraine in their last encounter, while Brazil played a 1-1 draw with Senegal.
“Any game between Nigeria and Brazil will always be an explosive game,” Adepoju told Soccernet.
“I am expecting nothing but an attacking football from both teams.
“Super Eagles technical adviser, Gernot Rohr must select players capable of holding the Samba Boys.
“This is one game Nigerians and the world will be watching even though it’s just a friendly encounter.
“A scandalous result could damage the morale of the players and affect the image of the team generally.”
The kick-off time for the match is 1pm.
