Keshi smiles

Stephen Keshi has said that he does not care who the Super Eagles encounter next, in the final round of qualification for next year’s World Cup, after he watched his boys defeat Malawi 2-0 in Calabar.

Keshi said: “I don’t have any preference in playoffs. Whoever we meet, we prepare for them.”

On his decision to start with Nnamdi Oduamadi, who played off Emmanuel Emenike, he explained: “We started Oduamadi because he is very quick, skillful, hardworking and can win penalty kicks with his skill.”

He also praised the quality of the pitch at the U.J Esuene Stadium, despite the torrential rainfall experienced earlier in the day.

“I’m surprised at the pitch. After the torrential rain on Wed and today, I thought we couldn’t play. But it drained well. Kudos,” Keshi said.
