The conversation that took place between Manchester United manager, Jose Mourinho and Paul Pogba at half time during their 2-0 victory at Bournemouth on Wednesday, has been revealed.
According to team-mate Romelu Lukaku, Mourinho told the France midfielder to keep making runs into the other half.
Pogba set up Lukaku to score the second goal after a powerful run and was named Man of the Match at the Vitality Stadium.
“We knew we had the space,” Lukaku told BT Sport at full-time.
“At half-time the manager told Paul (Pogba) to keep making those runs, he did and played a perfect pass which I was able to finish off.
“It was really important that we won today and now we’re well prepared for this weekend. As a player you always want to play and you always have to be ready.”
