Wilfried Bony’s agent, Francis Kacou, has said the player’s move from Swansea to Manchester City, will be completed in a few days.
The Ivorian striker moved to the Welsh club from Vitesse Arnhem for €14 million in 2013 and scored 20 Premier League goals in 2014 alone. He is now expected to join the English champions.
“Talks are going on and I really hope soon things will happen,” Kacou told Sky Sports News. “There were rumours about other clubs, but at the moment it is City.
“There are some small details about money but I think it will go alright in a few days.”
Speaking before he flew out to join up with the Ivory Coast squad for the 2015 Africa Cup of Nations, Bony denied he has undergone a medical and said the lure of Champions League football attracted him.
“We don’t know what’s happened or what will be later, so now I’m just focused on the national team,” he said. “[But] every player wants to play Champions League and World Cups. Thats the wish of every player.
“I don’t know anything [about the deal being completed]. I’m waiting like you.”
