Femi Fani-Kayode, former minister of aviation has described the ‘Sex for Grades’ scandal in West African universities as ‘shocking’.

Fani-Kayode said this while reacting to the video of UNILAG lecturer, Boniface Igbeneghu, a former sub-dean of Faculty of Art and head pastor of local Foursquare Gospel Church caught on camera allegedly demanding sex from a lady

Fani-Kayode, speaking on the development, said lecturers’ demand of sex from students was the reason most Nigerian parents send their children to study outside the country.

The former minister, on his Twitter page wrote: “The ‘sex for admission’ scandal in West African universities which has been exposed by BBC is shocking.

“Any wonder that no-one wants their children to go to universities in Nigeria and those that can afford it send them abroad?

“Dr. Boniface Igbeneghu of UNILAG has a case to answer.”
