Tension is high in Enugu following a reported bomb explosion at a polling unit at the WTC Primary School, Enugu, Saturday morning.
WTC Primary School is located at Enugu North, one of the municipal local government areas in the Coal City State.
DAILY POST learnt that the first explosion went off Friday night.
Our correspondent, who is at the scene of the incident, reports that the police anti-bomb unit just carried out two controlled explosions.
The latest controlled explosion was carried out around 9:05 am, few minutes after the Enugu Police Commissioner, Dan Bature, arrived the scene.
Although journalists are still unable to gain entrance to exact spot, a source said the bomb was laden in a Honda Jeep.
The situation has created panic in the area as voters were seen running helter-skelter.
