Reports reaching DailyPost confirmed that a female suicide bomber was responsible for the bomb blast that took at a mobile phone market in Azare, Bauchi State.
She blew herself up Sunday at the mobile phone market in Azare, Bauchi state in northeast Nigeria, killing at least 8 persons, witnesses said.
The attack happened at about 5pm.
Azare, which has recorded several bombings in recent weeks, neighbours the three states worst hit by attacks from Boko Haram Islamists.
“A suicide bomber came into the market as it was closing and blew herself up in the middle of all the merchants and their customers,” a witness said.
“I saw at least eight dead and lots of others wounded,” a witness, Alyu Habib said.
