Bola Tinubu and wife bestowed with the highest chieftaincy title in Abeokuta

Drums were rolled out yesterday (Monday) in the ancient city of Abeokuta in celebration with the National leader of the Action Congress of Nigeria (ACN), Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu who was conferred with one of the highest chieftaincy titles in Egbaland, the Aare- Ago (Field Marshal of Egbaland) while his wife Senator Oluremi Tinubu was installed Erelu Aare-Ago.

The highest chieftaincy title was bestowed upon Tinubu and his wife by the Alake of Egbaland, Oba Adedotun Aremu Gbadebo Okukenu IV.

The Paramount ruler,Oba Adedotun Gbadebo used the occasion of his 7th year coronation anniversary to confer the titles on Tinubu and his wife.

DailyPost gathered that despite the assassination of Gov. Fashola’s former aide and former Ikeja Local Government Chairman, Toyin Hamzat, on Sunday evening, the ceremony went smoothly without any tension.
