Boko Haram: “We shall overcome these challenges through prayers” – Emir of Kano

Emir of Kano, Alhaji Ado Bayero has called on resident of the state to intensify their prayers for divine intervention on the Boko Haram saga.

The royal father said this on Thursday morning while being conducted round the scene of a bomb blast that occurred near his palace on Wednesday night.

According to him, “we shall overcome this challenges through prayers.”

The Brigade Commander, 3 Motorized Brigade of the Nigerian Army, Bukavu Barrack, Kano who conducted the exercise urged residents of the state to openly fight back against those he tagged “terrorist elements” whenever they choose to attack.

He said “this is the time to demonstrate courage in the face of naked terror to assist the security agencies overcome the challenges posed by the terrorists in our midst”

While commending residents of the area for moving against bombers Wednesday evening, Abba stressed, “that singular action is a pointer that Kano is no longer a safe haven for terrorist activities.”
