Boko Haram militants, Monday evening, attacked Michika town in Adamawa State, northeast Nigeria.
Residents told DAILY POST that the attack came from all sides, as the community was engulfed with different sound of gunfire from both the terrorists and a military unit in the area.
According to residents, who manage to escape, soldiers are able to hold their ground in the ongoing battle.
“Yes, Michika town came under attack by Boko Haram, they are shooting sporadically,” a humanitarian worker who escaped from the town told DAILY POST.
