Boko Haram: Senate approves $1bn for ammunition

The Senate had on Thursday approved a loan of one billion dollars for the Presidency to purchase arms,in order to further confront the Boko Haram insurgents.

The approval however divided the Senate as some had argued that the approval was not necessary, considering the security votes available for the Presidency.
