Maiduguri, the Borno capital went silent on Friday when suspected members of Nigerian Islamist sect Boko Haram stormed a bank and a police station, killing at least four people. The suspected Boko Haram members who robbed a bank also attacked a police station in northeast Borno state, declared a government official .
Details of attack show that Gunmen killed two people during a robbery operation carried out in a UBA branch in Askira town on Friday morning g before attacking a local police station, leading to the death of an officer and an unarmed civilian. The incident was confirmed by a local government spokesman Malam Yuthama.
