Suspected Boko Haram fighters Sunday night attacked Kulbachuwa village in Madagali Local Government Area of Adamawa State, killing 8 persons.
Scores of others were feared injured in the renewed attack.
It was gathered that the attack, which occurred Sunday night took place between Borno and Adamawa States in Madagali Local Council.
Speaking with newsmen in Yola Monday, the Member representing Madagali in the Adamawa State House of Assmebly, Emmanuel Tsamdu disclosed that himself, the immediate past speaker of Adamawa Assembly, Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri and other prominent indigenes had to mobilize over 200 local hunters to chase the insurgents away from the coomunity.
