Report reaching DAILY POST says over 90 civilians have been killed in northern Cameroon, following Boko Haram attack.
Cameroon’s Information Minister, Issa Bakari, while disclosing the information to newsmen on Thursday said no fewer than 800 Boko Haram insurgents attacked Fotokol in the north of the country, leaving over 90 Cameroonians dead.
Bakari said that the extremists started their attack on Wednesday from Gamboru area of Nigeria, where they burnt churches, mosques and villages.
He said young people who resisted to join the insurgents to fight the Cameroonian forces were brutally murdered. Details to follow soon…
