No fewer than 60 persons have been kidnapped in Cameron after some Boko Haram fighters from Nigeria attacked the country,killing scores of people.
AFP reports that the Islamist militants “burst into two villages in the Tourou area.
They torched houses and left with around 60 people. Most of these people were women and children.
A police officer said that the cross-border attack had “left some people dead” without giving an exact toll.
This attack is coming several months after no fewer than 200 girls were abducted from Chibok area of Borno state by the same violent group.
