The Nigerian Immigration Service (NIS) has released Ahmad Salkida’s international passport to him, the journalist has confirmed.
Salkida was declared wanted by the Nigerian Army in August to provide information that will facilitate the rescue of the kidnapped Chibok girls.
He released a statement at the time, assuring that he would submit himself to the DSS, once he arrived Nigeria.
After the journalist was arrested for interrogation, he cried out that his passport had been seized.
However, Salkida on Monday revealed that his passport has been released.
He tweeted: “The Nigerian Immigration has just handed me my passport. I wish to thank all those that believe in me, I will remain true, always!”
