Boko Haram: Gwoza on fire as militants kill 32 in Borno

At least seventeen persons reportedly lost their lives on Sunday following renewed violence in Gwoza, Wala A and Wala B of Gwoza Local Government.

Also, fifteen persons were reportedly abducted, in the incident which happened ahead of APC congress in Borno State.

DailyPost in Maiduguri, the Borno State capital learnt that as at 7:55 pm, houses were still on fire at the local government.

A resident of Gwoza, who spoke with DailyPost said the attackers came in their hundreds, killing and burning houses, while resident scampered for safety.

“We are presently in the bush because our houses were burnt and our relatives were killed by the attackers”, Marcus Yahya told DailyPost.
