Alhaji Abubakar Suleiman, National Vice President of the First Aid Group of Jama’atul Nasril Islam, on Thursday advised management of mosques to introduce bomb detectors for the security of adherents.
Suleiman told the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) in Sokoto that proactive security measures would greatly assist in resolving the current security challenges in the country.
He called on wealthy Nigerians to assist the various mosque in acquiring the gadgets as part of their contribution to end the senseless killings of innocent Nigerians.
He said Nigerians, irrespective of their religious beliefs, should assist the Federal Government in fighting insurgency.
Suleiman also appealed to Nigerians to complement the effort of security agencies by giving useful intelligence reports that could lead to the arrest and prosecution of insurgents. (NAN)
