Boko Haram: Buhari meets freed UNIMAID lecturers, 10 other women in Aso Rock

President Muhammadu Buhari on Monday met with the three lecturers of the University of Maiduguri, UNIMAID, and 10 women released recently by Boko Haram insurgents.

The victims are meeting with the President at the Presidential Villa, Abuja.

Boko Haram had abducted the lecturers at Magumeri, Borno State, while the women were kidnapped in a raid by the insurgents on a military/police convoy on Damboa road, near Maiduguri.

It was alleged that the victims were released after a series of negotiations as directed by Buhari.
