The Nigerian Army says it has successfully neutralised three insurgents during an ambush in Mayanti Village in Bama Local Government Area of Borno State.
The Director, Army Public Relations, Brig.-Gen. Texas Chukwu, disclosed this in a statement released in Maiduguri, the Borno State capital, on Friday.
He said the terrorists were neutrialised by troops of 151 battalion.
According to NAN, Chukwu said the weapons includes three AK 47 rifle, 3 Magazines, 32 rounds of 7.62mm special ammunition, one motorcycle and two android phones.
He said that effort were being made to get the other fleeing members of Boko Haram terrorists.
